The Clock Ticks Down

It's all come down to this! The last minute packing is (mostly) done. Still have to fit in my netbook, a can of chain lube and a can of Plexus (because shiny bikes run better!). I found a few more things to try to carry on the bike, so everything had to be re-evaluated, and some things were put back in the dresser. It was kind of liberating to pare a bit here and there. Short of nuclear holocaust, I think I'm prepared for what may come my way. Ok, short of nuclear holocaust or a wheel falling off...but you get the idea.

Tomorrow is a "wake up and ride as far as I want to" day. Might be a lot (which is the goal) or it might not be as brave a number as I'm hoping for. No worries. I'm not trying to set any records and I'll get there when I get there, enjoying the ride on the way.

Now if I can just get some sleep tonight!

  1. Sounds like fun. The Executive Inn in Wentzville is about one mile from our branch. Coulda hooked you up with some fun boys there....

Hope that wrist sunburn has mellowed out. Stay safe.
