I dropped my dog off at my mom's tonight where he will stay during my trip. She's got a nice fenced in back yard with lots of trees and interesting stuff for him to sniff (I imagine). It made more sense to leave him there tonight than trying to fit it in tomorrow night when I'm trying to get all those last minute details finished. But. I'm gonna miss my puppy! And he'll miss me...his appetite drops way off when I'm gone, and that's a significant event for a 125 pound dog. Maybe one day I'll look into a side car, but not this trip. Sigh. Bye, baby.
On the positive side, I got the bike back (once again, in the continuing saga) and it's about 73 million percent better looking with that cover painted black, and what's a nice bonus, he didn't charge me to do it. Even scrolling through these posts the changes to the bike in the past week are pretty evident. I need to hurry up and leave so I can stop making changes (and spending money!)
